Happy Thursday!

Today on the balcony we had lots of dinosaurs who were very dirty. We were washing them in the bath! L came running over and was so excited to wash a big yellow dinosaur. I followed behind and was telling everyone it was a “T-rex!” L and K came bounding over very excited to splash in the water and they were saying “dinosaur!” to each other and giggling. A wanted to explore the balcony too, she was working her fingers by learning how to push down on the spray bottle, she was so happy with herself that she finished.

At the front table we had a faucet. We were making colorful streams of water using lots of different colored crayons. R and L worked together with N to cover the paper in red, yellow and purple lines, the whole page was covered, it looked like a colorful shower!

Tamara was doing marble painting with some of our friends on the small table. He and E loved making the marble roll back and forth. T and H smiled and laughed as they saw the beautiful colored lines rolling.

At the back of the table there was cinnamon play doh. Em was making cookies. St was rolling and slicing.

Today L, La and S brought in some wonderful bracelets to celebrate a holiday special to them and lots of others in China. It is the dragon boat festival. In Buds class we celebrated by dancing to some music and pretending to be dragons. We walked up and down and side to side and we roared very loudly to this song.

After that we tried to do some tug of war which is how some children celebrate. We got into teams and we pulled so hard and beat the teachers! The Buds friends are STRONG.

At the park today we enjoyed running and jumping and kicking and throwing balls. J had a lot of fun exploring the tree area whilst T was showing off his soccer skills kicking lots of pink balls.

We hope you have a great evening and we hope to see you at the parent teacher social night tomorrow night!

Love,

Buds
