Today, we tried to answer , “Can we bend wood? we recalled the materials we learn this past few weeks. We remembered that paper, fabric, yarn and plastic can all bend, while metal can bend and stay in it’s shape. Most of us answered that we can’t bend wood because  it would break. To test our answer, each of us were given a popsicle stick. We carefully tried bending it, and it snapped into two pieces.

Question of the day

After a few minutes, we tried bending the stick and this time, we were surprised . Instead of breaking, the stick bent without breaking.
