Happy Wednesday! We’re excited to have 15 friends in Flowers Class today!
CIRCLE TIME
We started our circle time by reading the question of the day!
R: Can colors make you happy?
So many friends said yes!
A: A lot of friends like colors!
Only two friends said no. Why?
T: It’s boring.
S: Because it’s boring.
They think colors cannot make us happy because something boring doesn’t make us happy.
What about the rest of us? Which colors make us happy?
Y: I like Rainbow because green, blue, purple.
M: Rainbow! But I like gold and silver.
Y: I like rainbow too!
R: Rainbow!
We looked at 4 different colors and described how they make us feel and what we think about when we see them.
O: Leaf! Green!
T: Yellow! Yellow cats!
M: I like blue, like a jet!
R: I like sky blue because of water.
J: Red. Because it makes Pokemon better! Like fire and stuff!
Z: Red
S: Red makes me angry!
We all agreed that red makes us angry! But does everything that’s red make us angry?
A: I like red because I like strawberries!
O: Tomato!
M: Apple!
Those things don’t make us angry! We thought that was silly!
J: They don’t make us angry because they are food!
We realized that colors make us all feel something different. Even the same color, but a different object can change the way we feel about it. Maybe colors are more complicated that we think!
