Happy Wednesday!
It was a cold chilly day, but that did not stop us from having lots of fun in Buds.
MORNING ACTIVITIES
This morning, we all had a big smile as we had morning free play. At the table we were so excited to build our community. S and L helped the teacher put the puzzle pieces together to create a community. Y took a taxi and pushed it around the neighborhood while H pushed around a school bus. For our floor activity we played with animals. K and L went around the class roaring like a dinosaur while M had a cow and mooed. As always, we had a full kitchen. T, R, R and L cooked for the teachers. They said it was so delicious. L put donuts in the oven and walked around to hand them to her friends. We had an amazing morning.
CIRCLE TIME

We all enjoyed the story.
Next, we all sang, “Who has come to school today.” We all took turns to go to the board to find our name. We did a great job finding our names on the board and putting it under school. M helped the teachers count 1,2,3,4… L shouted 12! We had 12 friends in Buds class today.
Yesterday, we had our school wide entry point where we took a walk in our neighborhood. The teacher showed us many different photos of what we saw yesterday. The teacher asked, “What did we see?”

Before we got ready for snack, we turned on our listening ears. We heard a loud alarm. It was an earthquake siren! We all went under the table. Some of us had a few tears, but the teachers gave us comfort. Once it stopped shaking, we put on our hats and followed the teachers outside.
After we all enjoyed our snack, we got our warm coats on and got ready for the park. We headed off to the green area to run around and play in the sand.
It is very chilly, so stay warm everyone! We hope to see you tomorrow for another fun day.
