Walking around the neighborhood!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA It was another busy day today. We all had a chance to learn how to hold the markers properly and to write our names and numbers on the white board. Pooja sat with us and we practiced some writing. It was not easy to hold marker with our small hands, but we were happy to know how and to write our names all by ourselves.

The puzzle table was also very busy as usual. We loved feeling good after completing all the puzzle pieces. We were more than happy. We were also so very proud of ourselves. We are ready to step up to 100 piece puzzles now.

In circle time, Pooja taught us how to hold the markers. She showed the frog fingers with the thumb, index finger and the middle finger. They just looked like a frog opening and closing its mouth. Then we slid the markers between our fingers. Some of us could draw a big circle on the white board. We still need to practice, but we can do it!!!

After snack time, it was park time. When we went outside of school, we felt some rain drops from the sky. We were not sure if we could go to the park or not. The rain was not heavy, so our teachers decided to go for a walk. It is always nice to get some fresh air and to discover our neighborhood. We found many interesting things, for example, some beautiful flowers on the street, big grapes in front of a restaurant, a nice bakery shop, a funny red octopus sign, a shoe repair store, and very quiet temple in the narrow street and more. We enjoyed our adventure under the cloudy sky. It is getting colder and colder each day in Tokyo, but we are always full of energy.
