World Book Day + Welcome, B!

There is something quite different about today albeit having stations prepared for us to play with. Everyone seems to be “somebody” else today with a book in hand. Our teachers are not in their usual Ohana uniform as well… They were wearing black outfits with shiny stars. Were they supposed to perform “Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars” for us?

One of our bulletin boards looked “different” as well with the letters, “W-O-R-L-D B-O-O-K D-A-Y” and pictures of book covers we had read together in class. What could today be…? Wren, Junya, and Georgia answered… “BRING OUR FAVORITE DAY!”

World Book Day! That is what we are celebrating today! Books are an integral part of learning and we are grateful to be living in times that books are easily available for us to read and enjoy.

Outdoor Play

We were in for a treat as we had the entire Step Park all to ourselves this morning. Our teachers were so proud of us for being brave in sliding down and climbing up all on our own!

We hope everyone is having a great Monday so far!
