ConGRADULAtions!
Our biggest congratulations to Flowers and to our dear parents and families! We could not thank everyone enough for all the support you have given us throughout the school year. Thank you so much!
We had been working hard for today’s graduation party. We could still remember when we first talked about “graduation” and started to think what it meant for all of us. Some of us expressed that graduation is the time when we finish Flowers and move to the big school. Some thought of it as an event when we become big boys and big girls, which explained that only Flowers do graduation ceremony (not Buds nor Petals). Still, some felt that it was a time to be told “Congratulations” which probably explained that one of us called graduation as “conGRADUlations!”. Well, for our parents and teachers, perhaps graduation meant a time to celebrate all the wonderful things that we have achieved throughout our preschool years! Graduation is indeed a time for celebration! Today, we were excited that our parents and families were able to join us on zoom to celebrate graduation with us.
One of the things you will find in our paper bag/eco bag today is a special thank you card for our mom and dad. We spent a day to think about the things that we would like to say thank you to. As one of our songs today says, “Our two little words to our teachers, moms, dads, grandparents, and all! Thank you for all you’ve done!”. We hope you like your card😊 We are sure that you could see how much we enjoyed our dance presentation today. We were always excited every time Maryna came for our dance class. A very huge thank you to Maryna for bringing the best energy out of our bodies!
We also love our Flowers Submarine Song which talked about the things that we did and enjoyed doing this year in Flowers. Would you like to know what our favorite part is? It’s the chorus part that goes like this:
We all loved our time in Flowers Class
We can’t believe so soon
The year will have passed
Vieda and Nimo, we really love you!
We’ll miss all our friends and cry boo, hoo!
After we said bye to our guests on zoom, our teachers told us that they were so proud of us that they gave us 10 big claps!!! Woo hoo!!! Guess what we did after the ceremony? We had party games! We jumped for joy as soon as we heard that there would be party games. Excitement was in the air when we played our first game --- PINATA! We were paired with a friend who assisted us and gave us directions so we could get close to the pinata. There were lots of giggles and “ohhh!’ and “ahhh!” when the person who had the stick tried to move and hit the pinata. We could feel our heartbeat got faster and faster as soon as our friend who had the stick got close to the pinata and the assistant said, “Whack it!”. We cheered loudly when we heard the “bang!” from the pinata. It was so much fun to see what were inside our pinata ---lots of treats and toys! We also played balloon games that proved how important teamwork is to reach our goal.
When our teachers asked if we would like to have lunch, we replied in a chant! We said, “Three little wolves! Three little wolves! Three little wolves!”. And we cheered when our teachers said “Yes!”. Yes, meant that we could have our role-play for The Little Wolves and the Big Fat Pig again and perhaps, for the last time! Ti and U chose to be a wolf and a beaver. We love doing role-plays! We are excited to do more role-plays in the future!
Our “big day” was full of fun and excitement. Thank you so much moms, dads, and grandparents for being a part of it! We love you!
Please enjoy looking through your portfolio, yearbook, and prizes! See you tomorrow!
Love,
Flowers XOXO
