R's Show and Tell

Good morning! It’s a wonderful day today. Mr. Sunshine has a big smile on his face. Our free play time was busy with playing and exploring. We had stickle bricks, and toy food to play with. Some of us helped fix our house.
After we packed away our toys, we started our circle time. Sayaka asked us, “How are you today.” Then we started to talk about feelings and it went into an interesting discussion…
H: I sleep lots today- at home. H also cry today because mommy said “Hurry up!”(She had an angry expression on her face)
Sayaka: Who is angry?
H: My mommy
Sayaka and Pauline: Really? R- san can be angry?!
*H nodded her head with a smile.*
L: My mommy and poppy angry!
L: My daddy, too! Angry!
K: My daddy is angry because he say “Hurry up!”
Sayaka: Is your daddy angry or he just says hurry up Kenzo?
K: My daddy say HURRY UP!
i: My mommy say, “Hurry up!” and then she do like this *She stomped her foot*
Kai: Really? Your mommy is angry?
*R had a cheeky smile on her face.*
A: Mama (is angry)
S: My mommy is happy because she loves me. She loves me and my toy food
H: Sleep all day mommy angry and mommy upset. Hiori is reading a book and mama said “Please go to sleep.” I just run and go bed. Daddy say….. *She put her head down*
O: My mama not angry! (He had a smile on his face)
L: My mommy is nice. She loves me and my sister Lia.
That was a very interesting conversation. What we talked about is one of the many different emotions and it’s okay to express feelings!
Sayaka asked us to look at the mirror and Hiori pointed out to it and said, “It’s sad face and happy face.” Sayaka used Bendaroos to create lines by sticking them on the mirrors. Sayaka asked us, “ Do you also want to see yourself if you have a happy face or sad face?” H, S, L, and L volunteered to see themselves in the mirror.
“I see Hiori. I see myself.” H said.
S looked at himself and smiled.
“Hi! Good morning.” L said to himself into the mirror.L also smiled at herself.
Haha! It’s interesting because when we see ourselves, we smile at ourselves.
Show and Tell! Today is…..R’s show and tell! She showed her favorite book, みんなのこびとMinnano kobito.

It was a great show and tell, R chan! Today was a perfect day to go to the park. We put sunscreen and bug spray on. “Are we ready?” “Yes, we are!” While we were playing at the park, Flowers class came so we had fun playing together.
