Happy birthday, friends!

Today is a special day,

Our friends are ready to play

It’s that Ohana  is a place to stay

We are all happy to see everyone all day!

Most of the time, we are definitely looking forward to be in Buds class and of course, we’re excited to be able to play with our friends again. As what we always sing in the classroom, LOVE is something that we give away so it will all come back to you. Buds is not just  full of energy but also we are also filled with LOVE.

The mornings are always busy in Buds class because our teachers prepared wonderful activities for us. Today, we did some arts and crafts with Goh san. She helped us to stick some faces on  the construction paper with a preferred skin color. When we were doing it, we were very careful on how to stick them as what Goh san told us we had to start from the eyes, nose and then mouth. It was quite  interesting  to see the reaction of our friends because they felt so proud of what they have done for us.

On the other table, we were so also occupied by the play dough. Our play dough is quite tricky at this moment because each play dough set is packed in a Ziploc and we need to make sure that we took our name before we start playing.

After our play time, Maryna the Ballerina came to our class and  we danced to her beautiful ballet music. We did so much movement like dancing and prancing  around the classroom. We have  divided the group in two so the first group danced with our ballerina and the other was upstairs watering the flowers in the balcony. When we swapped the group the first group went outside where we parked our bikes before and we just played with some balls that we usually brought to the park. It was nice to see how energetic we all were. It was quite amazing how our friends were able to cooperate and participate in our day-to-day activities.

After the fun ballet class, we celebrated our friends’ birthdays. We would also like to thank the parents who truly prepared amazing party treats for the children. The birthday celebrants got their special cards and of course, we sang our favorite songs in class too. One of our friends’ brother read a fantastic book about Thomas. He was such a great storyteller. Hopefully, he can read more books to us because all of us were quite engaged when he was reading to us. Thank you so much again for the wonderful birthday party and preparation.

Lastly, John did some music and story sessions with us. It was a simple game of finding the right mom for the baby animal and some pass the parcel game that  we enjoyed playing with our friends and teachers.
