Little Zoologist
Good morning everyone! We just love to have a great time in class and of course even if we had a little number of friends today, we were still up for another adventurous day. First, of course, we did our morning jobs and slowly our friends were trying to get used to this routine and a few of our new friends are getting the hang of it. Then, we had our activities listed as follows:
Process Art
We started this painting since Monday and we’re so thrilled how this work would turn out. We tried to add up some flair to it and gradually the whole piece is getting more meaningful to us. Our work is not just about getting it done but it’s also about how we did it. So, we’re looking forward for the final masterpiece until Friday.
Puzzles and animals
There were also some animal toys and large jigsaw puzzles. We tried our best to put the pieces together but we felt that we needed more practice to complete the task. For sure, on our regular school program, we’ll be able to understand more about how it works and will be able to finish the activity in no time.
Singing session
John and Nimo were also very kind to start our day with lots of live music in the classroom. The guitar and ukulele go so well together and we just jammed away with our Rockstar friends in Buds.
Park time
We ate our early snack and then went to the park. We spent a good amount of time on the slide and swing but we decided to leave early because of the humid and hot weather. Although we put our sunscreen and bug spray on, we just decided to go back to school and continued playing there.
Story reading
The Baby Animal Book and Eric Carle’s Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see?
John read two books today about the animals. Today, we pretended to be like Zoologists and looked after the animals that we had from our soft toy box. One of our friends decided to take the dinosaurs too and we could say that he wanted to be a paleontologist as well. like what we did yesterday, Nimo showed the stag beetle and we were very careful on how to make sure that it’s comfortable while he stays with us at Ohana. Some of the other classes were looking after it too because as a family we all have to work together.
Thank you so much everyone and have a great day!
Lots of love,
Buds Class
