Parent Teacher Social Night, 25th May 2018

Our end of the year Parent Teacher Social Night was another great success, capping off an amazing year at our Preschool in Tokyo, Ohana International School. There were so many things to celebrate and much to be proud of, as we brought 2018-2019 to a close. Parents and teachers catered for the event with an array of international dishes which were of course, delicious. The food and drink flowed and we filled our stomachs and hearts with lovely conversation and many thanks. We played a game which did not disrupt the ambiance (thanks Kiki for your brilliant idea of putting stickers on people's backs) and even had a good laugh when they eventually guessed who they were!

We made a special mention of Pooja our teacher in Petals Class who will be leaving us at the end of the school year. We presented her with a bouquet of flowers and thanked her for her contribution to Ohana and look forward to welcoming her back as a mum, for the next school year.

A HUGE thank you to all the teachers for their amazing work and contribution to the school during the past school year. They are the life blood of Ohana International School, our Preschool in Tokyo, that truly is unique. Ohana International School is a school that operates from the heart and this and so much more, are what make it stand out as one of the leading International Preschools in Tokyo.

The commitment from our teachers, their dedication, and willingness to learn and collaborate, is admirable and what a school really wants in its staff. This year saw eight teachers studying an online course through Harvard Graduate School called "Making Learning Visible" which has brought a superior quality to our already high standard of teaching. Next year is sure to bring some more amazing learning and creativity.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
