Snail trail!
Good morning friends and teachers! Another wonderful day in Buds class, we had an exciting event today because we had our Wednesday special guest arrive at school again! Our friend’s grandma came over again this week to read us a book and do art again! But before we have our special guest we have to do our morning jobs and tidy up the class room together. After our free play time, we got straight to story time with our big friend!
We got to see Oli Owl and Harry Hedgehog today! We read a story about a snail that went looking for his the art work that was on his shell. The book introduced us to various works of art from famous artists from a long time ago. Each work of art was very different from the previous one. After looking at several pieces, we found the artwork we were looking for. Which brings us to our artwork for today, we get to make our own snail shells! First, we spread the paint on a glass sheet then we use our magic fingers to draw a spiral and viola! We have our very own snail! We then pressed a blank sheet of paper on it to print it on the paper. We will be bringing them home later this week so please look forward to our work of art!
We were in for a treat today! It was cloudy and the sun was hiding this morning so we decided to go to the park! After having our teachers help us rub sunscreen on our bodies it was time to head to the park and run, run, run! We had so much fun running around in the park! And to make it even better, our Petals and Flowers friends came to the park too! It was great being in the sun and getting sweaty with all of our friends!
Wonderful Wednesday! We had such a great day at Ohana! Hopefully, we can have another cloudy day so we can run around in the park again! Thank you everyone, we will see you all tomorrow!
Love,
