Fruits and vegetables that grow from the ground and trees

Good day, friends! We’re always excited to see our friends and teachers and we couldn’t wait to do fun activities in the classroom that’s why we had to finish our morning jobs as quickly as we could. We then went to our art tables and found some circle cut-outs and then our teachers showed us some materials that we could touch and feel. We had the feathers, buttons and pompoms. Our teachers also reminded us to spread the glue with the use of our spatula. We spread the glue gently. Later on, we stuck all the materials and then make sure that they have enough glue on the paper.

Our play dough was quite busy too because our friends got some furniture toys and mixed them up with some dough that we just molded. It was amazing how we can get so creative. Our teachers were always encouraging us to be able to use our fingers and hands for pressing and flattening the dough. After our free play time, we went to the carpet area and found some musical instruments and toy blocks. We tried making our own buildings but it kept from falling off.

During our singing session, we sang our favorite songs and we always have this upbeat atmosphere that we liked to dance and look at ourselves in the mirror because we all wanted to explore our movements and the space around us. It was a great opportunity for us to release our energy because we didn’t go to the park. After that, we also enjoyed reading some books about baby animals and found out that they can be really dependent on their moms. Sayaka also talked about fruits and vegetables that grow from the ground and from the tree. It was interesting because we all thought that these foods were just growing from the little plants. She also read a book about “The Giving Tree”. It was a nice book but a bit sad because they had to cut the tree off and at the end of the day the old man sat on it. He was very thankful because the tree has given him lots of things that he appreciated in his life. We also sang a big happy birthday song to Sayaka. Today is her actual birthday. She said a BIG thank you and gave us all a big hug.

After the circle time, we sang and danced more. We clapped our hands, stomped our feet and jump around the classroom. It was another great way of releasing our energy. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!

Lots of love,
