Happy Monday! It’s the last week of the school year, and we’re busy with final preparations for our big day tomorrow! We did a final dress rehearsal in front of Petals Class today, and they seemed to enjoy it. We had fun preforming for an audience and are excited for everyone else to see it at our graduation ceremony tomorrow morning!
QUESTION OF THE DAY
Can you follow instructions?
Once again, we set up the tables in rows and sat side by side so that we can practice for big school. We reminded each other of the rules.
I: Ears listening.
S: Hands and feet quiet.
R: Lips closed.
S: Raise your hand.
We were given instructions about what to do with the white paper in front of us. We drew a line down the middle with a circle on one side and a line on the other. Then we looked at some letters written on the whiteboard and called out the names and sounds.
J: /a/
M: A
I: /b/
S: F
A: Fish
We looked at the letters closely and described what we saw.
P: B has two (curved lines) and D has one.
R: D has one straight line. A has three straight.
Then we sorted the letters into two groups. Ones with only straight lines and ones that have curved lines. We then thought about which other letters go in each category.
Have a wonderful evening! We hope to see many people supporting us on our big day tomorrow!
Love,
Flowers
