To our Moms, and Dads, Families of Ohana! It’s the Petals!
We had a fun week filled with lots of smiles and laugher!
We’re still getting the hang of rules and routines but we’re definitely getting better at using our 3 rules in our Petals class:
1. Gentle Hands
2. Walking Feet
3. Indoor Voices
We carefully held on to our friends, toys and teachers while playing together and doing activities.
With lots of energy, we pretended to be different animals and used walking feet to move around the room.
In our best efforts, we used our voices quietly and loudly to show we know what indoor voices sounds like.
We walked to the park singing our “Hands Up Hands Up” song to show cars and other walking friends how to cross safely.
We drew and painted colorful art about what we like and of ourselves with our hands and other tools!
We tried our best in gym and dance class (but we’re still a little shy towards our new friendly and energetic teachers)!
It’s been an awesome week and today, Friday, was a lot of fun!
We got to review all 3 rules and we can’t wait to show our friends next week.
T: (Walked so carefully across the room to gently point and touch his scuba diver)
K: (Tried his best to show quiet and loud voices but only used his indoor voice!)
R: (Walked slowly and carefully to his scuba diver and gently patted it)
K: (With a happy face walked to his scuba diver and got help from the teacher to reach and gently pat his scuba diver)
Dance Class was a lot of fun with teacher A! We did a long warm up and we look forward to her next class.

At the park we also go to see lots of different bugs and dig, dig, dig!
R: Its a butterfly! Its beautiful!
K: Me too! (wanted to make a hill of rocks)
