Sweet Potato Digging!

Happy Potato Digging!

We would like to thank the moms, dads, and grandparents that joined us today. We understand that today is a regular weekday and it’s not easy to make time to go out. We greatly appreciate you taking the time and effort to try and join your child on such a special event!

Those of you that couldn’t make it today, we missed you all dearly and please rest assured, our friends dug out your share of potatoes!

Here are some tips to help your potatoes taste better!

When should you eat them?

It takes roughly 2-3 weeks for the starch inside the potato to turn into sugar. If you eat them now, they might not taste sweet, so please be patient and hold on to them a little while longer! (I usually have mine after a month.)

Where and how should you keep the potatoes?

Please don’t wash them. The dirt actually acts as a barrier for the potatoes and keeps the germs out. Simply cover them in newspaper and leave them in an airy spot with no direct sunlight.

Have a lovely day everyone and we will see you again tomorrow!

Love,
Petals
