We had a super busy week with lots of fun events! We started with Capri’s Birthday Party on Monday where we made our very own animal masks, then on Wednesday we went to Itou-san’s farm for potato digging! On Thursday, we went to Arisu No Mori nursing home to sing songs and play games with the grandparents there and they made origami ghosts for us! On Friday, we went and spent the day with Flowers Class! We loved playing with the K’nex toys because we don’t have them in Petals Class! We also worked on a 48 piece puzzle and made cookies from paper!
For circle time, we learned how to count to 16 in Hebrew! We learned about what “Biomes” are and the different types we have on Earth! Cameron made a fun game where he placed pictures of different pictures of biomes around the class and we pretended to be animals of that biome! We also played a fun game where we had to get three cones to our biome, if there weren’t any cones in the middle, we could go and take from other biomes!
We finished up our day talking about fire emergencies and did our fire drill and practiced evacuating to Step Park.
