What Is Sweet?

This week has been such a busy week for our little Buds!

We enjoyed starting our Halloween wreaths, where we painted our hands and then stamped colorful handprints which later, we transformed into ghosts! BOO! They are so cute and amazing works of art!

We also hung up our giant jack-o-lantern in the free play area! Everyone was pointing and saying “pumpkin!” “pumpkin!” We love it! These Buds are so artistic!

Of course we had loads of fun participating in our annual sweet potato digging event. Were you able to dig up some big sweet potatoes? There were so many popping up out of the ground! We were even given a big bag of mikan (oranges) by the famr family! What a sweet gesture for our visit that day.

We experienced tasting sour, salty and sweet things for our week of discovering the taste sense as our final part of the five senses activities! What different or interesting things can you taste at home? Do you have any favorites? Let us know after the fall break!

Thank you for a fast and interesting week this week and we hope you all have a great fall break!
