Happy Friday, everyone!
This week has been quite a busy week for our Little Buds! We’ve engaged in multiple art projects that help us explore colors, spatial awareness when creating and even exercised our fine motor ability with using different types of paint applications.
We finished up our grandparents day cards by stamping pattern paint stamps onto the covers in gree, orange, white and purple paints. Through stamping, the Buds experimented with different patterning shapes and colors to complete their beautiful cards for grandparents.
We completed our sports day banner by adding our own cheer pose pictures onto the canvas! They look so amazing! Each morning the Buds have come in, they happily pointup to their photos on the banner. We’re so excited for you al to see it hung proudly at Azabu Sports field!
Today in Annie’s dance class, we practiced moving our leg by doing toe taps, sitting like butterflies and jumping to Annie’s music! She made us very excited and happy to dance around! We practiced a freeze dance and Annie said that we did a very good job at listening! Woohoo!
We began learning about our eyes and the amazing power of sight that they give us! We explored the world of colors and used some super fun tools like flashlights, UV lamps and even a fun puzzle game that let us swap out the different eye pictures of our friends in a great activity to match face to eyes! We learned that our eyes help us to see and that they are an important part of our bodies.
The little Buds have also painted some of their sports day medals! Yay! This class really loves to paint! Along with the many art projects we have been working on, the class began stamping their handprint sonto “Otsukimi” pictures in preparation for our Buds Class Otsukimi activity next Wednesday! Hooray!
