Slide By Slide!

June 11, 2026

Happy Thursday!

Today was our last full day for the school year!

We finished up some of the final touches for our stop light crafts on the front table by gluing on the red, green and yellow circles to resemble the light colors. The glue was pretty sticky but we love using it and how it feels on our fingers!

At the back table, we had even more sticky fun by playing with one of our favorite activities, play doh! We had a pretend odongo or “sticky rice ball” making party. The Buds friends used their fine motor skills to roll out and shape so many balls, big and small! Before we knew it, the table had so many rolling around!

In the free play area, we noticed the animals came out to play! There were sheep, foxes and more to roam the classroom! What the teachers were most impressed with was not how popular the animal toys were, but how our sweet little Buds were willing to quickly share them with their friends!

Our friend S’s family brought some delicious organic ice candy treats for the whole school to enjoy! Thank you so much!

After we gathered for circle time, we placed our name cards as we sang our names along with Brandon, Vieda, Gohsan and Kai. We love to sing along with live music because we can feel the sound around us, bringing the room to life!

Afterwards, we took advantage of the sunny weather and walked to robot park! We love robot park because it has so many great slides that we love to ride! Right now, our favorite slide is the rolling slide because we can ride it with many of our friends!

Thank you so much for an awesome day everyone! Don’t forget, tomorrow is an early dismissal day! Please pick up your child by 11:30AM.

Love,

Buds
