See You Later Alligator!

June 8, 2026

Good afternoon everyone!

Today on the front table, we continued painting the black traffic lights, which we will add our green, yellow and red lights after we finish cutting them. Green means go!

On the second table, we solved the animal, fruit and latch puzzles together. We really love the feel of the latch puzzles because they challenge our fingers to use all their strength! The clink and the snap sounds are what bring us back for more.

In the free play area, we found color blocks and were invited to make our own towers and other creations. These little Buds love building and it didn’t take long for us to discover that we could even stack the larger sized blocks on the smaller ones! Sometimes they would fall over but it made us laugh so loud!

Soon, it was time for us to clean up and get ready for snack time. YUM!

Once snack time was finished and we packed away our belongings, it was time to welcome in Shoma Sensei for his final class. We did our favorite activity, the cone race! Shoma Sensei asked us all to tap the cones as we ran around them to complete one lap. He was so impressed by how fast we ran and clapped with a big smile.

Shoma then asked us to stand with a friend to listen to his voice. When he would say “run”, we ran in place. When Shoma said “freeze”, we stood in place without moving but laughed as it was funny to see each other’s poses.

Lastly, we said goodbye to Shoma by giving him a big card we made and a BIG hug!

Thank you so much for a great day everyone!

Love,

Buds
