Buds Beat The Heat!

Today the Buds Class took advantage of the great weather and went to robot park early before it got too hot!

Before we left, we enjoyed building our own town on top of the back table. We noticed there was a lovely felt and velvet sheet laid on top for us to drive our little vehicles on too! We love to feel the texture of the felt and velvet on our fingers. Some of us were very focused and built some amazing towers for the town! We even had a little helicopter to fly around with. We love pretend cities and it made us all look like giants compared to the blocks and cars.

In the free play area, we delivered pretend donuts to our teachers and friends, along with some healthier choices like fresh fish, salad and apples! Yum! We giggled when we noticed some pretend insects got loose and wanted a yummy treat too! Oh no! We quickly helped them back to their proper bin though.

On top of the front table, our friends A and S finished up their beautiful post cards and got them ready to drop into the post box down the street!

Once we cleaned up, we gathered for circle time and placed our name cards on the wall and got ready to go to robot park! Before we got there, we made a stop at the post box, where A and S both mailed their post cards! Yay! We love using the post box! Will someone special get our post card?

Thank you so much for an awesome day and remember to stay hydrated!

Love,

Buds
