Happy Friday! Where did the rain go? We were expecting a rainy adventure this morning, but it turned out to be a cloudy day. Well, it seems like the forecast says it’s going to be a rainy Monday next week. Let’s get ready for this next rainy adventure! Please come in your rain boots and raincoats on Monday.
We had lots of fun playing with bear counters for a morning activity. Ka and Ri enjoyed sorting the colorful bears into the tray by matching them according to their colors. While other friends joined them too, the activity expanded beyond sorting as some friends liked lining them in a line or collecting them all in a tray. Either way, it seemed like Buds love these colorful bears! In another table, we had our handprints on a paper. These handprints are special gifts for someone special to our hearts. Who could it be? Stay tuned!
For story time in the morning and before nap time, we enjoyed reading some of our friends’ books that they brought for yesterday’s World Book Day. Thank you for sharing Ma (Five Little Ducks), Ta (Ta-o-saurus), K (Peppa Pig’s Sports Day), and Sh (Hermit the Crab). We can’t wait to read the rest of our friends’ books. Then, we had a quick review of the shapes we learned so far. We have circle and square on the floor and we stood inside of the shape that our teacher called out. Everyone did a wonderful job!
Many thanks to Maryna for Spin and Shine class! It was fun dancing with scarves. It was an opportunity for us to work on our jumping skills. Jumping on two feet at the same time is still a bit challenging but we enjoy “jumping” by bouncing off the floor.
This week had been a busy one with two celebrations — Earth Day and World Book Day. We look forward to taking care of our flower plants at Step Park. Thank you so much, mommies and daddies for preparing us for World Book Day
