We sat down with Esmi and tried drawing our faces on a piece of cardboard then threaded pipe cleaners in the holes for the hair. We also colored our outfits and cut them out. We played with the Mega Blocks and Playdough while we waited for our friends to finish their crafts.
For circle time, we reviewed the names of the continents and sang the 7 Continents song.

After reviewing the continents, Nimo made tiny little flags for our map. We each tried guessing which continent the flag belonged to.

We put lots of flags on our map and just before our next activity we took a quick brain break and did some yoga! We did some fun poses and also took some deep breaths to calm down.
For the second activity, our teachers handed us our pictures and we placed them under the flag of the country we were from!
Today we read, “The Snail And The Whale” by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. It was a fun story about a snail traveling around the world with a whale. After the story we went to Step Park!
Thank you all for another wonderful day! Have a great evening and see you again tomorrow!
Love,
Petals
