Happy Dad’s Day! We had a wonderful event in Buds Class today! Thank you to all our dads who took the time to join us today. Thank you for joining us for snacks, game and watching our dance and song presentation. We love you, Daddy!
MORNING ACTIVITIES
When we walked in this morning the room was a little different. We were a little confused when doing our morning jobs, but with the help of our teachers we were able to get it all done.
At the front table we had toy clips. L and K worked very hard on clipping different objects. At the next table over, we had play-dough. K made a sushi roll out of playdough. T and S made balls and put them in the containers.
In the back room we had our Buds kitchen open. R was very busy making a salad for all his friends. We had a fun morning, but we had to clean up because we had a busy day.
DAD’S DAY
Today was Dad’s Day. We sang our hello song and got ready for snack, but the teachers had us wait. We were all wondering why until we saw our daddies come in through the front door. We all had a big smile on our face. We sat with our daddies and ate snacks together. It was so much fun! After we ate our snack we showed our Daddy how we clean up. We cleaned up and played musical dads. It was hard to leave our dads, but we all tried to dance all around them. After we watched a short presentation and danced to our Dad’s day song it was time to say goodbye.
When our daddies left, we got a little sad, but once we saw the teachers bringing out the big lego blocks we turned our frown upside down. K built a big lego wall while L build a tower. K took two mega block cars and raced them around the classroom. R and Y took mega blocks and pretended to talk on the phone while walking around the classroom.
We were not able to go outside due to the rain, but we had an amazing day inside.
