Happy Friday, everyone! Today was a special day as we were able to celebrate Ta’s second birthday. We were happy to meet and celebrate it with his mom and grandma. Li and He volunteered to give Ta his birthday card and happily gave him a hug, too! It was such a pleasure to see Ta blow out the candle on his special birthday (playdough) cake. Guess what? We got the chance to play a Paw Patrol theme firefighter game with Em and Granny. We put on a firefighter’s hat and threw a ball on a stack of cups with photos of flames on them. We enjoyed knocking the cups down! Happy birthday again, Ta! We’re happy that we have got to celebrate your special day with us😊
After the party, we had our Spin and Shine class with Maryna. We enjoyed the variety of songs that Maryna shared with us. Although it was our first time dancing to the songs, some of us started to dance nicely! We are excited about next week’s class with Maryna.
And since it was such a beautiful day outside, we got ready for park time. We all walked to Green Space and enjoyed playing with sand toys and running around. Some of our friends loved playing with water. La and No had a good laugh together as they mixed sand and water. As some of our friends were digging some dirt in the long box, we had the biggest surprise! We saw a TOAD! Riley said, “Feet, mite! (Look at the feet!)”. Oh my, it was such a huge toad! We were lucky to have a close look at it and saw its eyes and feet!
