For our morning craft today, we made little faces and combined them with our water coffee filters to make little mushrooms for our fall decorations. We finished making mushrooms and leaves for our window! We also tore more pieces from our first painting to add it to our Sport’s Day Banner.
We went to the park with Flowers Class after the morning free play. After returning from the park we had Dance Class with Maryna. We danced to; If You’re Happy and You Know It and Animal Freeze Dance. We also did some stretching! Then we did a circle time about the first letter of our names! Our teachers showed us large letters and we matched them with our names!
Today we read, “Little Mouse and the Big Red Apple” by A.H. Benjamin and Gwyneth Williamson. Our friends were so silly and pretended to eat the big red apple!
I : Big red apple!
L : Apple, want to eat! I want to eat the apple!
I : Me too!
A : Ailsa apple!
M : Me!

Esmi : How can he carry it?
M : Roll! (shows how to roll)
I : Big red apple is going down!
A : Big!
H : He did not want to share the apple.
L : He is not going to share. Don’t share snacks!
M : No! (sharing snacks) No share snacks here.
After storytime, we practiced for Sport’s Day! We did an obstacle course with a pinching activity for our gross and fine motor skills. We matched our names and faces on the clothesline. We also talked about sports day and what to expect on the day of. We are very excited for Sport’s Day and all the activities!
