Monday, September 15: What we like.
Today we welcomed a new Buds class friend! His name is T! Welcome to the Buds class T! We are so happy to have you with us!
***REMINDER!*** We want to send a gentle reminder to ask all families to please label all your child’s belongings that come to and from school each day. Thank you so much!
On the front table today, we worked on our glorious sports day banner! E and L went straight to work gluing on colorful pieces of felt and from today, multicolored shapes of foam. S closely observed nearby and wanted to join! All the friends carefully places bit, big and small, to add their own unique touch! Nice using your hands and fingers!
On top of the back table, we asked for color puzzles to associate pictures in locating their correct color spots. H loves the yellow color right now and smiled as he held on tightly to the yellow bus and popcorn picture. T put together the blue item color pieces all on his own! R worked with T to finish up the green and purple puzzles! R picked up the orange ticket piece and walked over to the sports day banner. She smiled as she stood next to her friends and said “hi”.
Today we gobbled up our snacks and then gathered for circle time, where we each reviewed and spoke with our friends about what we like! To help jog our memories, we wore our “things I like” tee shirts! We are still working on reciting the vocabulary words for some of the things that are decorated on them but largely, our little Buds are so excited to share what they love to the class!

Soon after, we got ready to leave for Step Park together with Petals class!
When we arrived, we practiced running for sports day! We are so excited to see the families at the event next week!
